(Santa Clarita, Calif.) – Dante Acosta, a member of the Santa Clarita City Council, has announced the endorsements of twenty-one members of the California State Assembly.
“I am incredibly honored by this show of support,” said Acosta. “As I’ve met with these leaders I’ve received great encouragement and have been impressed by their common sense approach to fixing our economy in order to create jobs for California families.”
“My focus will be on economic growth and fixing our broken education system and I can’t wait to get to work,” continued Acosta.
Scott Wilk, who currently represents the 38th Assembly District but is running for Senate, was among those who endorsed Acosta.
“I’ve watched Dante’s work on the Santa Clarita City Council and he does an amazing job of bringing people together, finding common ground, and getting things done,” said Wilk. “He’ll be very effective in the Assembly.”
