(Santa Clarita Valley, Calif.) – The Mayor and members of the Santa Clarita City Council have announced their support of Dante Acosta for State Assembly. Mayor Bob Kellar and Councilmembers Marsha McLean and Laurene Weste all have endorsed Acosta, who was elected to the City Council in 2014.
“Dante has distinguished himself as a thoughtful leader who knows how to bring people together to get things done,” said Mayor Kellar. “He is the kind of person we need in Sacramento. He knows the priorities of the community and can build coalitions, it’s that type of non-partisan leadership that we need in the State Assembly.”
Dante Acosta is a successful businessman and Gold Star Father. He is running for State Assembly to create jobs, improve our public education system, and put a stop to the early release of criminals, which is placing an unfair burden on local governments and causing a huge increase in crime.
